AUTUMNFEST, our St. Monica annual community carnival of fun, family, and fellowship benefiting SMS, promises to be more fun than the Texas State Fair! Seriously, many of your friends, and your kid’s friends will be there. There’s lots to do for ALL AGES. The parking is easier. It’s safe. And best of all the money you invest in Autumnfest is used to directly impact your child’s education. Through the PTO, Autumnfest profits have been used to fund new playground equipment, science labs, library improvements as well as field trips and much more. Sounds good, right!?!
Mark your calendar for October 22 and enjoy a great day being planned by a committee of parents. Become part of the planning fun by joining a committee, volunteer for event day, or provide financial support with a much needed donation. Your Autumnfest donations multiply in benefit to SMS through careful planning, contributions and our volunteers’ efforts at Autumnfest...WE WANT YOU to be part of the fun and help make Autumnfest another big success...LET’S MAKE IT HAPPEN TOGETHER!

Here's how you can be part of the fun:

1) Raffle: The Autumnfest Raffle is an important part of Autumnfest. All families are asked to buy or sell books of raffle tickets in the month preceding Autumnfest. If you sell one book by October 2, every child in your family will receive a Free Dress Pass! Outstanding incentives will be awarded to the top sellers such as: $1,000 Tuition credit for the 2012-2013 school year, an XBox360 w/ Kinect, a Kindle and $50 AMEX Gift Card as well as $100 GAP/Old Navy/Banana Republic and $100 Hillstone Restaurant Gift Cards.
So sell, sell, sell!! Every family that sells 12 or more books of raffle tickets by the October 17 deadline, will receive an iPod shuffle. If we sells more tickets than last year the whole school will get a homework free night on Halloween! 2) Buy T-shirts, Tickets and Wristbands: Online ordering for discounted tickets is now closed but you can purchase tickets and wristbands the day of the event.

3) Sponsor: Become a sponsor by donating goods, services or monetary donations. Use our convenient online sponsorship form NOW! You can choose to sponsor anything needed...inflatables, t-shirts, concessions, raffle prizes etc. We acknowledge all gifts in signage. Sponsoring is a great way to advertise your business or show your family’s support of SMS. Some benefits available to our sponsors include VIP Parking, complimentary wristbands and raffle tickets, t-shirts and family or company name on signage. 4) Talent Show: Got Talent? Tell us what you’ve got! We are seeking face painters, magicians, bands , and more!!

5) Volunteer for an Hour: Assisting with set up and tear down, running games, selling tickets, grilling/ serving food and drinks, assisting with Cake Walk, Candy Wheel, Plant Wheel, Bingo, Fun Shoppe, t-shirt, and raffle ticket sales - all have one hour shifts available.
